Introduction

This walkthrough guide provides step-by-step instructions on how to create an account, set up your venue, and list your music events on our website. Please follow the steps below to ensure a smooth setup process.

IF YOUR ESTABLISHMENT IS ALREADY LISTED ON OUR PLATFORM, PLEASE EMAIL US AT INFO@GIGSHQ.COM TO REQUEST CONTROL OF YOUR ACCOUNT!

Step 1: Account Creation

  1. Navigate to the Sign-Up page as Venue on our website.
  2.  On the Sign-Up page, enter your first and last name.
  3. Enter your email address in the provided field.
  4. Set a strong password in the Password field.
  5. Confirm your password in the Confirm Password field.
  6. Click the Sign-Up button to create your account.
  7. You will receive a confirmation email. Click the link in the email to verify your account.

Step 2: Venue Setup

  1. Log in to your account and navigate to the VENUES section.
  2. Click the Add New Venue button.
  3. Fill out the Venue Details form with the following information:
    • Venue Name
    • Address
    • Email (optional)
    • Phone number (optional)
    • Short venue description (optional)
    • Venue capacity (optional)
    • Venue category
    • Add external links (optional)
    • Set Opening Hours 
  4. Save
  5. Upload logo and clear images of your venue
  6. Click the Save button to save your venue details.

Calendar Plugin

Did you know? We have a calendar plugin that you can embed your GigsHQ calendar directly onto your own website. Just paste the code snippet (found in your venue account) onto your site and you’re done!

Step 3: Event Listing

  1. From the EVENTS section, select the CREATE NEW EVENT button
  2. Choose your venue
  3. Select a date
  4. Click ADD ARTIST IN LINEUP (as many as you wish) 
  5. Set the TIME of performance for each artist
  6. Choose a COVER DESIGN (picture) for your event
  7. Enter an EVENT TITLE (or repeat artists’ names)
  8. Add a short description of the event (optional)
  9. Enter Prices + Ticket link (will indicate FREE otherwise)
  10. You can add SPONSORS logos & photos of the event (optional)

Facebook Post (optional)

You can connect the personal Facebook account used to create the venue page and post your events directly from GigsHQ.

Subscription program ''Gig & Save'' (Optional)

GigsHQ operates on a subscription model designed to create a win-win scenario for both live music enthusiasts and venues.

For a monthly subscription of $14.95, subscribers gain access to a daily 10$ or 20$ discount at any participating venue, with a minimum purchase ranging from 20$ to 60$ depending on the offer. This not only enriches the subscriber’s experience but also opens a doorway for venues to attract new customers and upsell potential. In return, venues receive enhanced visibility on the GigsHQ platform, along with valuable customer data such as name, age and email, enabling a personalized approach to building a loyal customer base.

This symbiotic model, therefore, not only amplifies the venue’s exposure and customer engagement but does so at a nominal cost, while rewarding the music amateurs in a way that keeps them coming back.

Step 4: Offer Creation

  1. Locate MEMBERS OFFER on the sidebar
  2. Click on ADD NEW OFFER
  3. Choose your VENUE
  4. Enter an OFFER TYPE
  5. Choose REDEMPTION PERIOD
  6. Enter RESTRICTIONS or ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
  7. Select BLACKOUT DATES if so desired
  8. SAVE your offer

  9. Click the USAGE STATS button to see statistics

How to Honor an Offer

The subscriber will access the offer page within the GHQ app on mobile device and show it to a staff member.
